Monthly Tip for March - Open a Window in Full-Screen
Opening Program Windows Full-Screen How is it that sometimes a window opens in full screen (maximised) and sometimes it opens in a smaller screen that you have to maximise, by clicking on the maximise button at the top right corner. Wouldn't it be nice if you could decide which programmes you want to open full screen? Well you can. Right click on the menu item or shortcut that you use to open the programme. Click on Properties, and select the Shortcut tab. About halfway down is an item labelled Run and next to this is a drop down list. The options are Normal Window, Minimised and Maximised. Select the Maximised option and click Okay. The programme should now always start up Maximised, that is with a full screen. Go on, have a try!To receive our Monthly Tips by email, subscribe here... |
